We offer a range of specialised fully taught Courses and MicroCredentials (with certificates) to certify professional singing teachers, vocologists, singers, choral conductors, musical theatre performers and creative arts managers and leaders.
What’s the difference between an ACVA taught course and the exam-only Diplomas other organisations offer (e.g. AMEB, Trinity College of Music)?
Our taught courses are all-inclusive training programs with lectures, seminars, workshops and more. On the other hand, the graded exams and diplomas offered by other organisations do not include training for you. In those cases, you either need to teach yourself or hire a private teacher/trainer to mentor you through the exam requirements, especially in the higher Diploma levels, which have high demands of excellence. Many professional level learners find that way of learning and being examined to be boring, outdated, unnecessarily difficult and they are constantly worried about whether they will have a successful outcome or not, due to the often-subjective opinion of one or two examiners only.
